After Winning Epic Bengaluru Test, Kohli Wins Hearts With His Women’s Day Post

SW Staff

Virat Kohli was at the forefront of celebrations after India won one of the greatest Tests of all time against Australia in Bengaluru – beating them by 75 runs. And a day later he was at the forefront of Women’s Day celebrations as well, with a heartwarming Instagram post which mentioned his mother and girlfriend Anushka Sharma.

Kohli posted this early morning on March 8, but what perhaps defines it is the boldness with which he has publicly admitted to his relationship with Anushka.

Not one to play hide-and-seek with the media and his fans over his relationship status, Kohli made sure he gave due credit to his mother and Anushka for being there for him during the toughest of times and fighting against the odds to change the norms (in society).

Kohli – winner on and off the pitch.
