On 4th January, 2017, every Indian cricket fan was left in shock. Much like so many of his decisions on the field, this one also caught the world unawares. MS Dhoni announced that he would step down as captain of T20Is & ODIs, marking the end of a remarkable era.
History will remember him as one of the greatest captains we’ve ever had. From his decision-making to his inspiring performances, MS Dhoni is irreplaceable. He won us every trophy there is to win and brought more glory to the country than any other captain. India can never thank him enough. Cricket can never thank him enough.
With the legend saying goodbye to the captaincy role, BCCI decided to pay him a tribute, chronicling some of the greatest moments of his glittering career.
