Bhuvneshwar Kumar To Miss 2 To 3 Games After Picking Up Hamstring Injury Against Pakistan

In a setback to India’s ‘total domination’ approach to their World Cup 2019 campaign, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up a hamstring injury and is set to miss the next 2 to 3 games, confirms ESPNcricinfo

Bhuvneshwar was forced to leave the field after bowling just 2.4 overs against Pakistan as he suffered from a hamstring niggle, which will keep him out against Afghanistan and West Indies.

Though skipper Kohli claimed it was a “slight niggle”, he further clarified: 

It was because of slipping on the foot marks. It doesn’t look too serious at the moment. We are going to give it some time. Hopefully he will be ready in a couple of games, if not max by three games from now.
