IPL 8 is turning out to be one hell of a contest as we are into the penultimate week and still no team has made it to the qualifiers. The battle to finish in top 4 is extremely close.
Currently CSK are on top with 14 points followed by Rajasthan Royals (14), KKR (13) and Mumbai (12). However, the 5 th and 6 th placed teams, RCB (11) and Sunrisers (10), aren’t too far behind.
MS Dhoni’s Chennai are most likely to finish in the top-4 as they have the best team and their run-rate of +0.833 is the very good.
The race to top 4 is still not finished but the race to finish at the bottom of the table is almost decided. KXIP with 2 wins from 10 are most likely to outpace Delhi, who have 4 wins from 11 matches.
