All-rounder Hardik Pandya smashed his maiden Test ton against Sri Lanka on Day 2 of the third Test at Pallekele. The explosive batsman helped India reach 487 in the first innings. In the process, Pandya also became the fastest Indian batter to claim a ton batting at number 8 or lower in terms of balls played.
The Gujarat cricketer was the last Indian wicket to fell. He amassed 108 off 96 deliveries.
