Chennai Super Kings stormed into yet another IPL final with a 3-wicket smashing of a lacklustre Royal Challengers Bangalore in Qualifier 2 at Ranchi.
There were two heroes for CSK: Ashish Nehra (3/28) who picked crucial wickets of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers to restrict RCB to only 139/8…
And Michael Hussey who scored a crucial 56 to guide CSK past the total with continuous wickets falling at the other end thanks to RCB’s Yuzvendra Chahal (2/28).
CSK will now face Mumbai Indians for the IPL title on May 24. They are the most powerful teams with owners like N. Srinivasan and Mukesh Ambani and it’s no surprise to see them in the final.
