Delhi Open Account With 5-Wicket Win Over KXIP

Delhi Daredevils can finally breathe a sigh of relief as they opened their account in IPL-8 with a 5-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday, April 15.

Virender Sehwag scored a breezy 47 but failures of Glenn Maxwell (15), David Miller (5) and George Bailey (19) meant that they only had 165/7 on board.

In reply, Mayank Agarwal (68 off 48) played the innings of his IPL life and was well supported by the 16-crore man, Yuvraj Singh (39-ball 55).

Both Delhi and Punjab now have one win from three matches and are level with holders KKR, Sunrisers and RCB on 2 points, having played an extra game.
