It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the second ODI between India and Sri Lanka was completely about Rohit Sharma. With his unbeaten 208, he made two big records.
Sharma is now the first batsman in the world to have hit three double centuries in ODIs and also the only captain to do so as he was leading the side in absence of Virat.
In the hullabaloo about Rohit’s big achievement, there was a small incident that understandably went unnoticed .
A fan came running into the field to touch MS Dhoni’s feet and had to be ousted by security guards.
The former India captain seemed taken aback and from what people could understand, told the fan to leave the ground.
