India’s World T20 participation came to an abrupt end after the loss in the semis to the West Indies. While we were the tournament favourites, let’s not take anything away from the Windies. They chased down a huge target of 193 runs against an in-form India.
Although we were gutted by India’s exit, we can’t help but feel proud too. Proud of the young talent we have acquired, proud of a future leader who handled the burden with so much ease and proud of a captain who has never lost his cool when the team required it most.
