India started their campaign against Pakistan in the 2017 Champions Trophy and they will end their pursuit for another ICC trophy against them as well. Kohli and company thrashed Bangladesh by nine wickets on Thursday at Edgbaston to set up another clash with their arch-rivals in the final.
Pakistan began their campaign with a crushing 124-run defeat against India, but then registered impressive victories against Sri Lanka and England on their way to the final. The much-awaited clash will be the second meeting between the neighbours in a final of an ICC tournament. We all remember how it ended the last time, when MS Dhoni’s India pulled off a sensational win in the last over to lift the 2007 World T20 title.
