Virat Kohli won his first match as the Test captain of India and legendary Australia Adam Gilchrist believes that he can help India’s fortune in overseas series.
The 278-run win against Sri Lanka was India’s first after nine Tests. Gilchrist pointed out that Kohli’s aggressive nature will help them claim more victories abroad.
Gilchrist compared Kohli to the recently retired Australian skipper Michael Clarke and said that people who play fearless cricket and are risk-takers ends up winning more Tests.
