Twitter Begins Celebrations Early, India Inflicts 3-Day Innings Defeat On B’Desh In Pink Ball Test

The Indian team wrapped up the pink ball test after Bangladesh were bowled out for 195 in their second innings, clinching the series 2-0.

By defeating the minnows by an innings and 46 runs, India became the first team to win four Tests in a row by an innings margin.

This is also India’s longest winning streak as they won their 7th consecutive Test match.

Apart from Ishant Sharma’s brilliant bowling display, Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami played a key role with the pink ball to dismiss the whole Bangladeshi side twice.

Where the Indian batsmen, led by Virat Kohli’s 27th Test century, ensured the runs on the board were enough, the bowlers, led by Umesh Yadav in the second innings, made sure Bangladesh were never getting close.

In the end, it was all about Team India at the Eden Gardens and netizens echoed the proud moment on Twitter.

At least the Tigers listened to this guy in the second innings.

This is also the 12th consecutive home series win for Team India.

Well deserved.
