India Stay Second In ODI Rankings

Team India were brilliant in the recently-concluded World Cup in Australia and the latest ICC rankings is testimony to that. As the Men in Blue are rated second in ODIs.

World champions Australia have topped the list with 118 points. Semi-finalists India are on 116 points, four points ahead of South Africa and eight points in front of neighbours, Sri Lanka.

Three Indian batsmen, Virat Kohli (4th) Shikhar Dhawan (6th) and MS Dhoni (8th), have made it into the list of the top 10 ODI batsmen, headed by South Africa’s AB de Villiers.

Indian bowlers were brilliant in the World Cup but their poor form prior to that means that no Indian has made the cut for top bowlers headed by Australia’s Mitchell Starc.
