India made it 8 straight wins in World Cup matches after a low-scoring 4-wicket victory over West Indies in Perth. The Men In Blue have equalled their longest-ever winning streak at the ICC event.

Electing to bat, the Windies witnessed another familiar batting collapse as they were bundled for 182/10. Skipper Jason Holder added some respectability to the total with a hard-fought 57 not out. Mohammed Shami picked up 3 wickets for India, taking his WC 2015 tally to 9 strikes.

In response, defending champions India were in a spot of bother at 78/4. But MS Dhoni took matters in his own hands. He scored a patient 45* to take his side to 185/6 home with 4 wickets and 65 balls to spare.

With the win, India have further strengthened top spot in Pool B.
