Arch rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal teamed up for the first time to play doubles together at the Laver Cup on Sunday. The duo swept the four grand slam titles in 2017 and it was a surreal experience for tennis fans to see the two of the greatest players on the same side of the court.

Federer and Nadal have 35 major titles and more than $US200 million in career prize money between them. The pair beat Team World’s Jack Sock and Sam Querrey 6-4 1-6 [10-5] to win their first doubles match together.

It was a special occasion and Twitter went crazy celebrating the coming together of Federer and Nadal.
