Holders Kolkata Knight Riders had a tough start to their title defence but they have found their strides and won all three matches last week making them the best team over the past seven days.
They kick-started the week with a 35-run win over unpredictable Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 4. It was a complete team effort as none of their player scored a fifty or took more than 2 wickets.
Piyush Chawla then gifted them a 13-run win over 7 th placed Delhi Daredevils on May 7. The leggie took 4/32 to break Delhi’s back in their run-chase of 172.
Their latest win came against Kings XI Punjab on May 9 and it was thanks to the efforts of Sunil Narine (4/19) and Andre Russell (21-ball 51). Making them the Team of the Week!
