Watch Kohli Troll Jadeja’s ‘Swordplay’ Celebration During The New Zealand Test Match

Adarsh Vinay

Remember Ravindra Jadeja’s talwaarbaazi celebration at Lord’s on scoring his maiden Test fifty, back in 2014?

It’s quite a celebration and the man is really proud of his swashbuckling moves.

So much so, that he showed off his skills at his Sangeet too, earlier this year. With an actual sword, no less!

And he was at it again after his half-century in the ongoing Kanpur Test versus New Zealand. But while he was celebrating, his captain Virat Kohli was beckoning him back to the pavilion to declare the Indian innings. With a lead well in excess of 400, Kohli was ready to put the Kiwis back in to bat.

But so engrossed was Jadeja in his celebration that he missed Kohli calling out to him and Rohit Sharma. This led to the skipper comically mimicking Jadeja’s celebration.

Check it out:

Playing our landmark 500th Test, India need 6 more wickets to seal a mammoth win. At the close of play on Day 4, the Kiwis were at 93/4, still trailing by 341 runs.

Let’s see if Jadeja picks up another fifer like he did in the first innings and shows off his talwaarbaazi with one of the stumps as well!
