IPL 2015: Player Of The Week – Mitchell McClenaghan

Mumbai Indians’ good fortune coincided with the entry of New Zealand’s Mitchell McClenaghan in their squad. The outspoken left-armer has been their biggest weapon and he deservedly became Player of the Week.

His figures of 1/31 in MI’s 5-run win over KKR doesn’t justify the fear he created among the so-called Knights.

That was followed by his best IPL performance, taking 3/16 against Sunrisers in what was a potential quarter-final for them.

McClenaghan has so far taken 11 wickets for Mumbai but it is the way he carries himself…the aggressive nature of his bowling with the new ball that is making all the difference.
