The prolific Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root and Kane Williamson continue to fight for the title of the best batsman in the world. But for Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir there’s only one winner.

During a Twitter interaction the pacer was asked who he thinks is the best batsman in the world out of the fab four, to which he replied that he admires the other three as well, but for him Kohli was the best.

Amir also picked his first spell against India in Champions Trophy final as his favourite moment of the match. During his devastating spell, the pacer sent Rohit Sharma, Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan back to the pavilion.

The mutual respect between Kohli and Amir is no secret. The India skipper had earlier praised Amir for making a comeback into international cricketer after serving a five-year ban for spot fixing. Kohli even gifted a bat to the pacer ahead of the India-Pakistan tie in the World T20 in 2016.
