Like Kapil Dev in 1983 and Zaheer Khan in 2011, India pacer Mohammed Shami has been in rampant form at the current World Cup in Australia. Shami has taken 12 wickets in 4 games and is just 1 strike behind the New Zealand duo of Trent Boult and Tim Southee who lead the charts with 13 wickets each.

Shami took 3 wickets for 41 runs against Ireland in India’s last match and will look to catch up with those above him when India play Zimbabwe on Saturday, 14th March.
