Mohammed Shami has been out of the India team because of an ankle injury but the UP paceman is not in pain as his wife, Hasin Jahan, gave birth to a baby girl last Friday.
Shami is on his road to recovery but is expected to miss the upcoming Sri Lanka Test series next month which will allow him some precious time with his new born kid.
The 25-year-old was India’s main weapon before he got injured and him becoming a father now may bring more maturity in his bowling.
