Unheard Story Of IPL Cheerleaders

Gaurav Jha

IPL not only introduced the Indian audience to the T20 format, but it also brought to India the concept of cheerleaders. But instead of appreciating the art, the Indian spectators are making them uncomfortable in the worst possible way.

Despite the BCCI’s diktat that the cheerleaders aren’t allowed to speak to the media or the cricketers, one of the dancers went out of her way and spoke on Reddit about what they have to face.

The anonymous cheerleader explained that they are often racially abused and ogled at which makes them highly uncomfortable.

She also expressed the cheapness they have to face as most of the fans look at them as sluts and easy which by the way is not even close to the fact.
