Uthappa Wants To Open In Zimbabwe

Robin Uthappa is back in the Indian squad after a year and the hard-hitting Karnataka batsman wants to open the innings in the ODI series against Zimbabwe.

A second-string Indian unit led by Ajinkya Rahane will play 3 ODIs in Zimbabwe, starting from July 10 and for Uthappa it’s an opportunity to get noticed.

Uthappa has been successful as an opener in IPL but international matches are a lot tougher. He averages just 26 in the 43 ODIs he has played for India.
