PM Modi Gave The Indian Blind Cricket Team A Reception Worthy Of World Champions

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met the Indian blind cricket team that defeated arch-rivals Pakistan to lift the Blind Twenty20 World Cup earlier this month.

Prime Minister said he was happy to interact with the members of the Indian blind cricket team.

PM Modi also posted pictures of himself with each and every member of the team on his twitter page.

(Yes, we are well aware that he did not actually tweet these by himself, but the recognition coming from the most followed Twitter account in India has got to mean a lot for these cricketers.)

The Indian blind cricket team had successfully defended its Twenty20 World Cup title, defeating Pakistan in the final of the tournament on February 12, for the second successive edition.

It’s exactly the type of motivation that will help them keep playing the game with passion and kudos to our PM for taking time off his schedule to that.
