PV Sindhu Defeats World Champion Nozomi Okuhara To Win Korea Open Title & Twitter Is Elated

India’s badminton queen PV Sindhu defeated Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara 22-20, 11-21, 21-18 to win Korea Open Super Series title on Sunday.

Sindhu also avenged her 2017 World Championships’ final loss in Glasgow to Okuhara. She made history by becoming the first Indian to win the Korea Open.

Indian sportspersons, celebrities and fans took to Twitter to celebrate Sindhu’s title win.
