India’s exit at the hands of New Zealand shocked the entire country and we have still not fully recovered from the loss.


India fought hard but fell 18 runs short, thus crashing out in the semi-final against New Zealand.

After playing a heroic innings, where he almost pulled it off for India, Ravindra Jadeja took to Twitter to share this heartfelt message for all the Indian fans.

Coming in at a stage when India were 92 for 6, Jadeja steered India’s innings with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, taking them closer before just falling short towards the end. 


While millions of hearts were shattered instantly, Ravindra Jadeja emerged a hero despite the tragic loss.

They together put up a 106-run partnership for the 7th wicket before Jadeja fell in the 48th over, trying to up the run-rate. 


MS Dhoni was run out courtesy a brilliant direct hit by Martin Guptill in the 49th over, thus ending India’s fairy tale journey.
