Even CSK Can’t Stop Ruthless Royals From 8 Wicket Win

A winning streak in IPL means nothing if you haven’t beaten Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals can be proud of themselves for beating IPL’s most consistent team by 8 wickets.

Dwayne Bravo (36-ball 62*) salvaged the CSK innings after they were down in the dumps at 4/65 but a disappointing knock by MS Dhoni (31* off 37) meant that they only had 156/4 on the board.

Shane Watson marked his comeback as the leader of the Royals with a match winning 47-ball 73 and he was equally supported by Ajinkya Rahane (76*), who ensured a safe finish.

RR have now won five out of five this season and are no longer the underdogs, but the favorites. They also ended CSK’s 3-match winning streak in the process.
