Australia’s Steve Smith showed his class for Rajasthan Royals as he smashed an unbeaten 79 to take RR to a 7-wicket win over Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, April 14.
Opting to bat first, Mumbai witnessed brutal batting display from Corey Anderson (50 off 38) and Kieron Pollard (34-ball 70) as the duo took them to 164/5.
Royals, who have won two-in-two this season, achieved their third win as Ajinkya Rahane (46) and more importantly Smith never allowed MI to get into the match.
The result means Rajasthan have won all their 3 matches so far this season while Mumbai have lost all three.
