Shami Confident Of Participating In SA Series

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami is recovering from a knee surgery and is hopeful of regaining full fitness before India’s tough series against South Africa starting October 3, 2015.

The 25-year-old suffered an injury during India’s tour to Australia and played the 2015 World Cup in pain but still managed to pick up 17 wickets in the tourney.

Shami was India’s first-choice with the new ball in both ODIs and Tests and Team India would really benefit from having him back in the team.
