Former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar was all about raw pace. The fast bowler’s bouncers injured many unsuspecting batsmen and made for an intriguing duel on pitch.
On Monday, the ‘Rawalpindi Express’ shared a meme on his Twitter account claiming he injured most number of batsmen – 19 – by any bowler in history. The bowler, however, also claimed that he never enjoyed hitting a batsman except for one certain one.
In another tweet, Akhtar revealed that he want to ‘badly hit’ Australia’s former hard-hitting opener Matthew Hayden during his playing days. The cricketer also added that the duo have buried their past rivalry and are good friends now.
Akhtar has dismissed Hayden three times in five Tests the two cricketers have played against each other.
