It’s been one week exactly since Mitchell Starc landed in India to participate in the ongoing IPL 8. One week later, his team, Royal Challengers Bangalore, have reached the top 4 and he has been the crowned the Player of the Week.
After conquering the world for Australia in the recently concluded World Cup with 22 scalps, the tall paceman is looking to do the same for RCB.
He looked rusty in his first outing against CSK (1/24) but broke league leaders Rajasthan Royal’s back with figures of 3/22. He then bettered it against Delhi, taking 3/20.
His yorkers are finding the spot they are meant to and that reflects in his bowling average of 9.4 and an economy of 5.5. Watch out IPL, Starc is here!
