Here’s Why We’re Glad Indian Football Captain Sunil Chhetri Didn’t Choose Cricket As His Sport

In case you didn’t know, Sunil Chhetri is the captain of the Indian football team. Wearing the blue shirt of India, the striker has scored 43 goals in 74 appearances. On the fateful day in his childhood when he made the decision that football and not cricket would be his choice of sport, he did the right thing. Here’s why:

Not only did he get out, the bat almost knocked a fielder out.

This video clip was shot in Goa, where Chhetri and the rest of the I-League champions, Bengaluru FC, are contesting in the 2015 Federation Cup. The 30-year-old seems to be using his spare time honing his cricket skills. Not that it’s working though!
