Delhi Daredevils’ skipper JP Duminy single-handedly downed Sunrisers Hyderabad as the South African first scored a classy 54 and then took 4/17 to help his team to a 4-run win.
Shreyas Iyer (40-ball 60) has been the find for DD this season and once again got them off to a flier and a grand end by Duminy meant that Delhi had 167/4 on the board.
But Duminy’s best was yet to come as the part-time off-spinner dismissed all four Sunrisers batsmen who matter in the form of David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravi Bopara and Eoin Morgan.
Delhi, after losing their first two matches, have won two in two and are fourth in the table. While Warner’s Hyderabad succumbed to their third defeat of the season.
