So the last match of the T20 Freedom series between India and South Africa was abandoned due to rain yesterday. While most will lament the lost chance to win back some pride, others will thank the rain Gods for protecting us from another spanking.
So while the country waited with bated breath, hoping the rain would ease, the Indian team had their eyes on more pressing matters. The former batsman VVS Laxman, was famous for entertaining the crowds with his flamboyant batting style. But this time, it wasn’t his playing skills that caught the eye.
Whatever your opinion about the match (or non-match), the Indian Team sure knows how to entertain, cricket or no cricket.
