As A Loving Gesture, This Footballer Gives His Blind Mom The Ball Each Time He Scores A Touchdown

Success is enjoyed when shared with those who matter the most. And that’s what exactly this footballer did.

Instead of giving into the tradition of a ‘dance move’ after a score, National Football League player DeAndre Hopkins gave his blind mom, Sabrina Greenlee, the touchdown ball to let her know that he scored.

This special moment was captured at the Thursday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The video has now gone viral in which DeAndre gives his mom the touchdown ball to celebrate the victory. His mom, then, proudly holds the ball over her head with a huge smile.

And this exact moment has won Twitterati’s heart.

His mom lost her vision back in 2002 in an acid attack when a woman threw a combination of lye and bleach on her during a dispute involving the man she was dating. She remained in coma for many weeks post that.

TBH, this is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen any athlete do. Much respect for this young man.
