Volkswagen started a campaign with the hashtag, #GermanyCheersForIndia to introduce their latest and upgraded range of the Cup Edition cars. But, it all started with German footballer, Thomas Mueller’s tweet, extending his support to Team India.

And, as #GermanyCheersForIndia started trending, support for the Indian Cricket team poured in from football-crazy Germany. In a country where teams like Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are revered, it was exciting to see people cheer and motivate the Men in Blue to lift the cup!
