India coach Ravi Shastri began his tenure on Wednesday against Sri Lanka. Team India are in South Asian country for a three-match Test series, followed by a five-match ODI and a one-off T20I.
Ahead of the Test, Shastri posted a picture of him sitting with skipper Virat Kohli and one from a warm-up match.
Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen replied to the former team director with an interesting question.
And Pietersen’s question allowed Twitter users to have some fun.
Shastri, who had earlier served as India’s team director has been appointed head coach for the first time, after Anil Kumble stepped down from the post.
