With India looking to open their World Cup campaign successfully tomorrow, Germany and Bayern Munich footballer Thomas Mueller posted a picture of himself in an India jersey and football fans in the country were ecstatic.

In a tweet posted last evening, Mueller said that while he wants to wish luck to all the teams; he has his fingers crossed for Virat Kohli and his team. He also noted how Kohli has been a supporter of the German football team in the past.

Muller is the second big name from football, after Chelsea’s David Luiz, to throw his weight behind the team and Indians are really excited about this.

#GermanyCheersForIndia? Sounds great to me.
