In a video doing the rounds on social media, India skipper Virat Kohli could be seen bowing down to self-styled Godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. In the same video, other Indian cricketers like Ashish Nehra, Shikhar Dhawan and former Indian wicket-keeper Vijay Dahiya could also be seen.
The video started circulating on different platforms of social media since the Godman was found guilty and convicted on charges of raping and sexually exploiting two female disciples by a CBI special court on Friday.
In an earlier interview, the Dera Sacha Sauda leader had claimed that he trained Kohli and host of other cricketers, e.g. Zaheer Khan, Yusuf Pathan to help them make a name at the international stage.
Rahim also claimed that he had trained ace boxer Vijender Singh.
