Virat Kohli took to Twitter to squash rumours of him getting engaged with Bollywood heart throb Anushka Sharma. The two had split up earlier in the year but reports said that they were back together, with an engagement on the cards.
However, the Indian Test skipper tweeted today morning that all such reports were rubbish.
News channels had gone so far as to even mention the date and venue of their engagement – the Ananda hotel in Narendra Nagar in Uttarakhand on 1st January.
Some reports also said that big names like Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan and industrialist Anil Ambani were going to attend the ceremony.
Well, all that can be shelved now – Kohli has come out and denied the reports and that should be that.
