For the second time in this series, Virat Kohli left a ball he should not have and was dismissed for a low score. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, India were left in a bit of bother at tea with half the side back in the pavilion.
The Indian captain, who enjoyed a purple patch in Tests before this series started, has now had three low scores in the first three innings he has played against the Aussies.
The dismissal was greeted by pin-drop silence at the Bengaluru stadium. The decision to review a plumb LBW was just as bizarre as the decision to leave the ball.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the bizarre dismissal, proving once again that a bit of humour goes a long way in hiding disappointment.
Kohli rightly said “U ll not see poor performance like Pune again.”

Virat Kohli used to see whole team getting out from non-strikers end.

The way Kohli is wasting his reviews,
He might as well review a lost toss next game. #IndvsAus by @govind2weets pic.twitter.com/qe3WoiSeMS— Sunil Yash Kalra (@SunilYashKalra) March 4, 2017
