Wenger’s Arsenal Didn’t Qualify For The Champions League & These Tweets Simply Destroyed Him

SW Staff

Arsene Wenger failed to secure a top-four finish in Premier League for the first time in his career as an Arsenal manager. The London club finished fifth in the table with 75 points despite beating Everton 3-1 at the Emirates on the last day of the season as both Manchester City and Liverpool won their respective games to finish third and fourth to qualify for the Champions League.

Fans are now calling for the Frenchman’s head as Arsenal registered their lowest league finish since 1996. Angry fans took to Twitter to vent their anger against the club and the manager, while few didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to crack an Arsenal joke.

It’s to be seen whether Wenger will sign the contract extension which is already on the table for him.
