New-recruit Kedar Jadhav scored a brilliant ton to help India whitewash Zimbabwe as the Men in Blue smashed the hosts by 83 runs in the final ODI to claim the series 3-0.
Team India once again struggled against the new ball and were down to 82/4 and it came down to two newcomers, Jadhav (105*) and Manish Pandey (71), to take the score to 276/5.
In reply, Zimbabwe couldn’t get the ball rolling and it was once again Chamu Chibhabha (82) who held his own as the hosts were knocked out in the 43 rd over for 193.
It was an important series win for India as they were humiliated in their last outing against Bangladesh and the B team played better than the show put out by the full-fledged unit.
