The fastest man on earth, Usain Bolt is all set to end his illustrious career with the conclusion of the ongoing IAAF World Athletics Championships. The Jamaican sprinter, who is currently defending his 100-meter title at the Championships will retire from the world of athletics after the race, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday.
Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh took to Instagram to pay tribute to Bolt, who has won eight Olympic and 11 world championships gold medals. The southpaw paid a cheeky tribute to the sprinter with a video of them competing in a 100-meter race. Surprisingly, Yuvraj beat Bolt in the race, but not without pushing him jokingly just before the finish line.
The race took place during a promotional event at Bengaluru in 2014. An exhibition cricket match was also played at the event between Team Bolt and Team Yuvraj. Bolt-led side beat the Indian cricketer’s side in the four-overs-per-side match after the Jamaican smashed 45 runs off 19 balls.
On Wednesday, India skipper Virat Kohli had posted a video Twitter wishing Bolt ahead of his retirement.
