Yuvraj Singh’s Reaction To His 1st ODI Century In 6 Years Shows How Much It Meant To Him

India rode on quickfire centuries from Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni to post a commanding 381 for six in the second cricket one-dayer in Cuttack on Thursday.

Sent into bat by Eoin Morgan, Yuvraj (150 off 127) and Dhoni (134 off 122) bailed India out of trouble after they were struggling at 25 for three inside the first five overs.

It was the first century in ODIs for Yuvraj since March 2011, when he scored  a crucial hundred against West Indies in Chennai. And now, after making yet another comeback, Yuvraj played one of his best innings of all time to pull India out of trouble.

And his reaction on reaching the landmark showed just how much it meant to him.

It was a mixture of relief and delight. He looked up at the sky, raised the bat slowly, thumped the bat handle on his chest & followed that up with a long hug with Dhoni.

It clearly meant a lot to Yuvraj and his fans were understandably delighted.

Goosebumps, indeed!
