Zimbabwe Spoil UAE’s Return To The World Cup With 4-Wicket Win

UAE were returning to the World Cup after almost 20 years but Zimbabwe spoilt their party with a 4-wicket win in their WC match at Nelson.

Despite a wobbly start, spirited performances from UAE batsmen helped them to ehri highest ever ODI score of 285/7. Shaiman Anwar scored quick-fire 67 while Khurram Khan made a watchful 45.

Chasing that target, Sean Williams top scored for Zimbabwe with 76*. With the win, Zimbabwe picked up their first points of the 2015 World Cup.
