This Artist Painting A Car Using Tilt Brush Will Make You Feel That The Future Is Here Already

“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” – Edgar Degas

He might’ve been a painter in the late 18th century, but this quote by Edgar Degas still holds true for almost all forms of modern art. I mean, at the end of the day, it’s about showcasing your perspective to the world, isn’t it? The way you see beauty in things, no matter how simple or complicated they are. Because let’s face it if you look through the eyes of an artist, everything is worth taking inspiration from, right from the rustic bark of a tree to a visually stunning car.

Meet Eric Jason D’Souza, a contemporary visual artist, who has interpreted the ‘crystalline’ design of the new Skoda Rapid in his own way. Using the Tilt Brush technology, he has given a new meaning to the clear lines and the sharp edges of the car. Skoda has taken inspiration from Bohemian Crystals to create the sharp angles and contours that the new Rapid very proudly sports. The dark facade of the butterfly front grille and the light and dark shade surrounding the headlamps gives this car a distinct crystalline look.

And the way Eric paints it on a virtual canvas, makes one feel that he has actually brought the creation to life. Needless to say, the end result is captivating and so is the process.

This video of Eric weaving his magic will change the way you look at art.
