After Failing To Find A Wife, This Chinese Engineer Built A Robot & Married It Instead

After struggling to find human love, a Chinese artificial intelligence has married a robot which he himself built.

According to the Guardian, Zheng Jiajia, 31, after multiple arguments with his family over his marriage, decided to build a female robot.

Named Yingying, the robot can identify Chinese characters, images and say simple words as well.

Zheng married Yingying in a simple ceremony on Friday in a traditional Chinese ritual. The wedding took place in the eastern city of Hangzhou and was attended by his mother and friends.

South China Morning Post also reports that now that Zheng has married the robot, he plans to train her to walk and to do household chores.
