Every story is verified. Our writers look for multiple authentic & credible sources to corroborate a story, looking at the headline, checking for confirmation bias and tonality.  

The verification process does not end at publication however, and if new information is made available, we accordingly correct the published piece with the necessary updates.

This includes adding verification from subjects of the story, to ensure its unbiasedness.

Each piece of content is sifted for the following

– That it is not vulgar, obscene, or violative of other’s rights
– It does not promote hatred or violence of any kind It is not discriminatory on the basis of caste, creed, religion, race, ethnicity or gender
– It does not disrespect an individual or organisation or is of slanderous nature
– It is sensitive to the topic being discussed in the story

There is a clear distinction made between paid articles and advertisements. Any story which is an advertisement, carries the name of the company and carries a description of an ‘advertisement’, ‘ad’ or ‘sponsored’.
