Thailand Has Waived Off Its Visa On Arrival Fee For 2 Months So New Year Plans Are Sorted

If you have been planning to go to Thailand for a holiday, this is just the right time to put your plans into action.

According to a report by TOI, Thailand has now waved off visa on arrival fee of Baht 2,000 (about ₹4,440) from December 1 to January 31 for India, including 20 other countries like China and Taiwan.

You will have to visit the country for less than 15 days to avail this facility. 

Thailand has been one of the most budget-friendly trips for Indians as many low-cost carriers like GoAir and Indigo have started non-stop flights from India to Phuket.

Talking to TOI, Yatra COO, Sharat Dhall, said:

“About 12 lakh Indians went to Thailand last year, a growth of about 11 percent from the previous year.”
